The finishing things - youtube, podcast, were fun, interesting and engaging. Thoughout CL 2.0 online discovery was a learning experience. There was so much for me that was new. It was fun and entertaining creating a blog, avatar and other things, other times it was overwhelming. There were things that I had heard of but never tried using them so this was an oppourtunity to explore some exciting websites my favorite sites that I will continue to use are delicious, zoho, & LibraryThing. I would recommend others to take advantage of Classroom Learing 2.0.

For Thing 20, I posted a fun YouTube video of a science experiment. You can find videos on YouTube about almost anything, from how to bake a cake to instructions on solving a math problem! This site would be helpful on library websites if you wanted a brief video of someone summarizing a certain book, or even reading it aloud. I can definitely see myself using YouTube.com in the future as a "how to" kind of site.

Before Thing 21, I wasn't really familiar with podcasts. After reading about them, I've learned that they are digital audio/video files, similar to having a radio station on all the time. You can download all sorts of digital files, most popular being music and books. Similar to YouTube, you can find any sort of file to download to your computer or MP3 player. I found a nice one about DisneyWorld memories, but don't think I would use podcasts too often.

This website I loved, I love to read and I'm always looking for good books, I will refine and reuse this site. My only problem was not being able to download some books to my blog.

This is something I would definitely use, I created an account with Zoho and found it very familiar, with added bonuses, I can open a document anywhere anyplace.

I often use wikipedia, I didn't know that there were other uses, I like the book review, educators site and visited some other classroom uses, there could be some use by fourth graders. I really didn't see anything to sandbox that was not already there.

I liked the idea of an entertaining cartoon of "A Fairy Use Tale" the cartoon provides a history of Fair Use, and more imoportantly that we, who borrow from others should give credit to original works.

Whew! there was aplenty to read and look at in Techno rat, it seemed like more of what we've already been looking at, it was also used for an earlier "thing" lesson. It's nice that everything can be categorized or should I say tagged, it certainly makes it easier to search for articles, sites, communities and what not. It'ssomething that I will have to get back to for further readings.

This account will make it easy for me to find "favorites" that I have on my home computer and then I forget what they are at my work computer. This way I'll always have access to websites I bookmark.

I created my own searchroll but was having difficulties uploading it to my blog site. In my class I see that it could be something else to use in the classroom for math enrichment.

I can see myself using some of the sites I visited, such as "Mango Language" will be handy to hear and learn terms that I can use when I visit Europe this summer. And several other sites, it certainly narrows my search time which works for me.

I found that Google Blog Search was user friendly, a few useful school classroom site I located were www.schoollibraryjournal.com and www.lesson-plan-help.suite101.com , there is so much info available it all starts to look the same!

Things technology that interest me most are things that I can utilize in the classroom such as creating flash cards. I was eventually able to work thru it!

There is definitely alot we can do! Its overwhelming and time consuming! But I like it, I am learning so much. I framed a picture (my son), I will continue my quest and experiment with trading cards, magazine covers and posters.

I was not sure where or how to register my blog, I tried some things that didn't seem to work. Although I did follow some steps to hyperlinking in PBWiki that seemed to work.

So far so good! Once I actually sat down and read, setting up my blog went fairly easy, it just seemed so overwhelming. Creating the avatar was fun and easy to follow. I decided to go for a younger version of myself with a scene that is relaxing to me. I would change it up if I were to use it in the classroom.

I'd have to say that the easiest habit for me to follow is Habit 2, accepting responsibility for my own learning, sometimes it may take me awhile but I'll get it done! The hardest would be Habit 3, viewing problems as a challenge, I tend to view problems as a problem, I need to re-evaluate the situations and challenge myself. For instance 2.0 Learning, I'm beginning to understand!
